Wrap plastic securely around any items that may be sensitive to water and are not already sealed (such as the distributor, air filter, air intake system, carburetor, electronic controls, and electrical components). Use a scraper or wire brush to remove any thick or hard buildups of dirt, grease, or grime. Hold can upright with spray button about 12" (1/3 m) from surface. Press firmly on spray button and coat the engine with degreaser. Wait about 5 minutes while product penetrates and emulsifies the dirty coating, then flush off surfaces with a strong stream of water. Repeat procedure if necessary. Allow surfaces to dry before removing plastic and starting engine. Safeguard our Environment: Use the minimum amount of water necessary to remove grime and dirt.
